High Performance Breathing

The high-performance breathing program introduces the student to the processes of the brain in relation to dealing with low to high-level stress environments. This would include dealing with the day-to-day stress of work and relationship challenges all the way up to professional operators in the Protection, security, law enforcement and military fields.

The program discusses the effects of the fight or flight response on the rational brain in the limbic system and how this leads to the hijack of the amygdala and the limbic system leading to the chemical dump into the bloodstream which is commonly called the adrenaline rush.

High-performance breathing teaches the breathing methods required to deal with the stressors leading up to a critical event. What to do during a critical event when you're dealing with the body's reaction to the dump of adrenaline and endorphins to avoid the freeze response and take action. And dealing with the post-event stress and anxieties to recover properly.

Learn to reprogram your system to operate in different ways to improve breathing performance to help with the control of emotions and related stress. Different patterns of breath will allow you to control or regulate the body according to what you need. Learn to gain access to your full pulmonary system to increase the levels of oxygen that is available in the body.

Additional benefits include:

It helps you relax, lowering the harmful effects of the stress and anxiety hormones on your body.

It lowers your heart rate and lowers blood pressure and releases toxins.

It improves blood flow, reduces inflammation, and increases energy levels. It improves your core muscle stability.
