Public Relations Department

Our four-legged PR team brings the fun, fluff, and friendly vibes to AMAC. Jayne, our senior greeter, specializes in warm welcomes and toy-sharing negotiations. Amaya, his pint-sized sidekick, adds a dash of sass and chaos to the mix. Together, they keep spirits high and remind everyone that AMAC is more than just a place to train—it’s a place to feel at home.

Jayne Cobb Rousseau – AMAC Greeter

Jayne has been a beloved part of AMAC since 2017. As an Aussiedoodle (that’s Australian Shepherd mixed with Poodle), he’s got the smarts, the charm, and just the right amount of floof.

While he doesn’t train in any martial arts, Jayne takes his role very seriously—greeting students, spreading joy, and handing out sloppy kisses like a pro. He’s also known for generously sharing his toys… as long as you agree to play before heading to class.

Missing a sock? Don’t worry—it’s probably in Jayne’s secret stash. He’s always open to a trade… especially if treats are involved.

When he’s off duty, Jayne enjoys long walks, window patrol, and indulging in Starbucks pup cups like the local celebrity he is.

Amaya Mathews – Assistant AMAC Greeter

Amaya is the newest (and smallest) member of the AMAC crew. A toy poodle with a big personality, she officially belongs to Coach Iris’ mom—but she’s made it her personal mission to be glued to Jayne’s side at all times, whether he likes it or not.

You’ll mostly find Amaya at the school on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. When she’s here, she’s usually behind enemy lines (aka trapped in the office) because she simply cannot be trusted to stay off the mats.

Small, sassy, and totally convinced she runs the place—Amaya adds just the right amount of chaos to our AMAC family.
