Assistant Jiu jitsu Instructor

Coach Josh has been training at AMAC since 2019, where he has developed a deep passion for martial arts. He recently joined the AMAC Instructor Training Program, demonstrating his commitment to sharing his knowledge and skills with others. Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu has become his primary art since he began training, and he has also been actively participating in Combat Submission Wrestling (CSW) since 2020.

Primarily, Coach Josh assists in the adult Jiu-Jitsu program, where he enjoys helping students of all levels refine their techniques and enhance their training. Additionally, he occasionally supports the kids’ BJJ and kickboxing classes, further showcasing his dedication to fostering a supportive environment for young martial artists.

In addition to his expertise in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and CSW, Coach Josh is a 2nd-degree black belt in Aikido under Andrew Sato Shihan, the founder of the Aikido World Alliance. This experience enriches his teaching approach and provides valuable insights into various martial arts philosophies.

Outside of training, Josh works as a technical recruiter and enjoys family life with his spouse and one child.
