Katie Scott

Littles Jiu jitsu Instructor

Coach Katie Scott brings a unique blend of early childhood education experience and martial arts passion to her role as instructor for the Littles Jiu-Jitsu program (ages 3–6) at AMAC. She has been training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu at AMAC for the past two years and is dedicated to helping young children build confidence, coordination, and focus through fun and structured classes.

Before joining the coaching team, Katie spent eight years as a preschool teacher and worked extensively in special education, developing strong classroom management skills and a natural ability to engage young learners. Her background makes her especially effective at creating a positive and supportive environment for AMAC’s youngest students.

Katie is also a proud AMAC parent—her 8-year-old trains in the kids kickboxing program, and her 5-year-old is part of the Littles crew. Her firsthand experience as both a parent and practitioner gives her a deep understanding of the AMAC community and its impact on families.
