Sifu/Guro Alan Baker

Sifu Alan Baker is an internationally recognized martial arts & self-defense expert. He has been training continually in the Martial Arts since 1981 and teaching since 1990. He has 40 years of continuous experience in the arts. In 1999 he was inducted into the WHFSC International Martial Arts Hall of Fame. In August of 2007, Mr. Baker was awarded the rank of 7th Degree Black Belt by the International Martial Arts Headfounders Grandmasters Council. He has also been recognized for developing the Warriors Path Physical Fitness Program and is the founder of the Civilian Tactical Training Association, he has appeared in several national magazine articles.

Iris Rousseau

Coach Iris is AMAC’s Program Director and Head Instructor. She runs all the daily operations here at the school where she has been training since 2005.

Dennis Rousseau

Coach Dennis began training in martial arts in 1981. In 1985 he attained the rank of First Dan Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do in the Allen Steen lineage, and is recognized in the American Karate Black Belt Association (A.K.B.B.A). He has been training in various martial arts styles since and holds a black belt in Gracie Jiu Jitsu (Pedro Sauer Jiu Jitsu Association), and Orange Grade-Defence Labs (Defence Lab Association). Dennis also holds a Combat Submission Wrestling rank of Student Level 4. A former Army infantryman where he learned hand-to-hand combat, squad tactics, close quarter battle training, and multiple weapon platforms. He has deployed to Iraq and is an Operation Desert Storm Veteran. Currently, he is a Law Enforcement Firearms and Defensive Tactics instructor.

David Mitchell

Coach David has been training at AMAC since 2006 and has been an AMAC Instructor Training Candidate (ITC) since 2010. During this time, he has focused his training at AMAC in studying self-defense and combat applications. David also trains in BJJ, Defense Lab, Pekiti Tirsia, and Silat. All of his experience he brings to the classroom to create a dynamic training environment

Joseph Snapp

Coach Joe served in the army from 1999 to 2005.  He was a less lethal weapons instructor for the Army and Marine Corp.  He has also worked as a persona trainer and massage therapist.  He is married with 2 children.  He enjoys spending time with his family and training.  He has been training here since 2020 and started helping in the kids classes since 2022.  He believes children are our future and absolutely loves coaching his kids along with the other kids in our classes.   

Josh Murphy

Coach Josh has been training at AMAC since 2019.   He’s recently been brought into the AMAC Instructor Training Program.  Has been training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu as his primary art since 2019 and is a blue belt.   You’ll also catch him assisting with the kid’s BJJ class.   He’s also been training CSW since 2020 and has achieved Student Level 2.   Also a 2nd-degree black belt in Aikido under Andrew Sato Shihan founder of the Aikido World Alliance.  Outside of training he is a technical recruiter and is married with one child.

Chad Ivy

Chad started training at AMAC in 2005. He currently holds the rank of 1st Liu Brown sash in the AMAC Kung Fu program. He is currently studying Filipino Kali in private classes with his oldest daughter. He is married with two children.
